Ordering/Shipping

Hi Everyone. I have a general question regarding the shipping. I am moving to SC around Nov. 1st. I want to order a sectional in one of the pet care fabrics and then put it together in my new house while my dad is still there helping me move in. I've read that people have had some issues in the past regarding shipping and what time they expect to get their orders. I'd hate to order it and have it shipped to SC, only to have it arrive once my dad is gone and have to put it together myself.

My question is... does anyone know if I ordered it at some point in October and had it shipped to where I live now, but then didn't open the boxes until after I've moved-would the foam/fabric, etc still be ok? I'm not sure if the foam would bounce back after being in a box for 3-4 weeks.

The sectional style I like is Brooklyn. Any feedback on that from anyone? The style couch I have now (from JCPenney) is similar to the Monroe. I'm pretty tired of the fluffy pillow back style of couch, so that's why I think I'm going with the Brooklyn. This would be my color scheme:

Anyways, I'd appreciate any feedback at all.

It's not a good idea to leave the foam compressed that long. We use 5 days as our time frame. You can call and we'll do our best to ship it so it arrives when your dad is there to help. ( I really think you will be able to put it together by your self) But I understand it's nice to have help.

Thanks Sandy. I didn't think it would be a good idea, but I figured I'd ask. Once I get a better idea of when exactly I'm moving and when my dad plans on coming, it will be easier for me to order. I probably could handle putting it together myself, but after a long move I'll definitely want help... or atleast someone for feedback!

Wow Thank you for asking this question! I am planning on moving to Las Vegas NV in August 09. I was wondering if I could order so that it would arrive around the same time as I do..lol..would be nice to have a place to sit!! I am driving a rental truck out...will take me about 10 days as I plan on having fun with this move!! Knowing I can call and have things shipped to arrive around the same time as I do has made up my mind as to ordering!! Now to pick my living room and fabric!!

Just give customer service a call after you place your order and we will get it shipped to arrive when you will be there... provided you don't take too long sight seeing!:)
