I am an artist, I love wine and electronic music... I invent, I hang with my friends when I can, but I usually stay home working on stuff. I drive a Geo Metro and get better gas mileage than most new hybrids... I dream all day, and honestly believe one day I will make a difference in this world.

Defeated by the dreaded Futon!

Doh! ... Today my coworker tells me that she went out and bought a $350+ futon. I about cried.

Home Reserve offers WAY better comfort and quality than a rickety, poorly made, uncomfortable futon. Grr!
I've been warming her up to H.R. for weeks now, and she backs out because there is no "fold out bed" *sigh* I wish I would have known that earlier.

I remember hearing a rumor about Home Reserve making a "bed version" once, whatever happened to that?

I know my parents… Continue

Jazz Commercial?

I was listening to an internet radio station this weekend... a song came up that immediately made me think of the new couch design. "Erick Morillo - Jazz In Your Face" it is youthful, vibrant, energetic, and just makes you want to dance around in your living room! :) ... but at almost 8min long I'd cut it down to about 30 sec to use.
Its times like this that I wish I knew how to do vector artwork ... I'd silhouette the couch like an iPod commercial, but f

Did you try USPS for S&H?

They may be cheaper if USPS will send that size box. They have a few different international services to choose from and depending on the the size limits vary drastically. (I once had to send something to Australia and making my box one inch smaller ment a savings of more than $200 dollars off the shipping price!) Wouldn't hurt to check it out!

Keith, Well I did check for you to Stockholm Sweden, because you didn't say Where in Sweden you were going so I just picked a city. The actual cost would depend on the postal code and item, but for a ball park of a sofa to Stockholm it would cost $622.90 to ship by UPS.

Thanks for the invite. I stumbled across the HR website and think the furniture makes perfect sense. We are starting to remodel our den which had old 70's painted paneling (ceiling included yuk). Are going to be sheetrocking it and putting in recessed lighting, and hardwood flooring. I have long wanted to get a sectional but we have sort of an awkward long room. This will enable us to build our own set up, with Altima fabric for my not so neat teens, and Jack the daschund. Knowing that I can reconfigure it if we move, or even pass it along for the college apartments to come makes it a perfect choice. I can't wait until we have the remodel far enough along to order!
