I found the answer
The problem: narrow hallways=no room to get our couches through the hallway. My husband and I realized that the couches were not going to fit right away. We took measurements and threw our hands up. I figured we'd just get small couches. Thus began my search for "small cheap couches". Home Reserve popped up on google right away but I was scared of a new name I had never seen before. I went to Walmart, KMart, Target, JCPenney and Macy's instead, hoping they would have a couch with dimensions smaller than 30"...no such luck. So I went back to Home Reserve. The site was bright and easy to navigate. I was quickly lured in by the pretty colors and low prices. But was the quality good? I checked out independent review sites and all of the feedback was excellent. I was convinced I had found the brand.
Then we moved into our house last weekend. What a crazy day. We moved my bro and sis-in-law first in the morning and then moved us in the afternoon. I would never recommend two moves in one day to anyone, but it had to be done. Anyway, so we have no place to sit in our living room besides a wooden rocking chair. Our overstuffed recliner rocking chair wouldn't even fit down the hall. I thought it would be no big deal to sit on chairs for a while...I was wrong. It's depressing to come home and not have a comfy chair to relax on while watching wind-down TV. We don't have cable in our bedroom yet so I can't do that upstairs and now our computer is in the living room so...blah blah blah I'm whining I know and no one will probably ever read this but I promise this will get more exciting.
We ordered the comfy corner sectional in Mission Chocolate Faux suede. We picked the smalled amount of couch because our living room is only around 8x10. I think it's the perfect fit. This is the first time we've ever bought new furniture together (we've been married 3 years)! We were bummed to find out it will take 2 weeks to come but I think it will be worth the wait. I've been shopping around for fabric for throw pillows I'm going to make for our delicious chocolate couch. I will keep posting about our experience as it unfolds.
