Great video! I loved the interaction with the baby and the
dog.

I am very happy with the Brooklyn so far. Yes we begged to buy the "sectional" pieces wihout corner and assembled them to make a 4 seater sofa, before their formal "sectional" was available on the site (We didn't have to twist their arms too hard- talk to Sandy- she is very helpful.) Course if they had known I would be the customer who would make a video and tell 1,000 of her closest friends - they might not hae broken that rule? who knows? Again- I would ask Sandy about the arms - I am sure they can mix and match it however you like. I do no think the back "recline" is that intense- I am going to look and see if I have a side shot- I think one of the other posters posted a side shot for me so I could see leg cushion depth and distance of back of cushion to wall. But no- I do not feel overly reclined in this style at all- I have never even sat in the others but it seems to me just the firmness / stationary factor of this back seat cushion style would lend more to your liking (sitting mostly upright) You could always add a pillow if needed? I do not lay my head on the arms per se- although with help of a pillow under the shoulder area- you could. If I lay down- I lay just beside the arm- head on a pillow. Moslty, I recline against the arm with pillow under my elbow/ arm. (if that makes sense) I will try to post another picture to show you. We thought we would have to move the bottom cushions out to accomodate my hubby's 6'3" frame- but it seems just fine even without pulling them out some (we were going to hide a old rolled up towel = 2" +/-behind the seat cushion and under the back cushion.) The foam is getting softer and more comfy onyour tailside as it breaks down- so I am pre-emptively rotating the cushions that don't get used as much (middle) with cushions used every day about once a month or so- just so they all get evenly broken in. Of course I have a "mexican bean" jumping toddler to help me out with that too! We love the fabric- I wipe her spills up every day!!!! Fantastic Fabric!
I hope that helps. I will look for profile seat pics. Only thing I wish was that the insides of the storage areas weren't so rough- it kinda catches on soft "throws." Course hubby said we could pick one to make a throw storage only & polyurethane the inside to make smoother. Maybe we will try that in the spring. Hope that helps!

I loved the video. Watching your little one "help" was especially fun for me.
I wondered however, since that appeared to be a Brooklyn sectional and Sandy mentioned that you were a customer; I didn't think the Brooklyn sectional was available for sale yet. I knew they were working on it and that the holdup appeared to be the corner piece which your sectional didn't have. How were you able to order it. I noticed that one other person made a comment on one of your photos about ordering a Brooklyn in the same pet style fabric, but I can't remember whether they meant a sectional or just a regular sofa or couch which does show as available to order.
Another question I have is that although I do like the idea of a stationary back, I wondered if the design makes it feel like a slight reclining back or whether the main part of the cushion is still fairly straight. I'm asking because I prefer to sit fairly straight rather than to be leaning back.(For instance even while driving I usually have my seat back nearly straight up rather than leaning back.
Another question I had really more for Sandy (but perhaps you know) was whether the arms of the Brooklyn sectional could be substituted with round arms. I actually like the looks of the Brooklyn arms but
thought the round arms might be more comfortable to
lay down on. Do you have a comment about the comfort
of laying down on the Brooklyn arms?
I had also noticed that one Blog spoke about the coming Aspen style and I wondered whether perhaps that might be the Brooklyn back with round arms. If not I am really interested to see what it is as I would like to order soon, but would like to know all my options.
I would appreciate any feedback regarding the feel of the back for the Brooklyn, the comfort of laying down on the Brooklyn arms, and also any possible comments about the added depth of the cushions that the Brooklyn has over the loose pillow style.
Are you happy with your Brooklyn? Any reservations
at all?
